[FIGURE:] was formed in December 2004, by bassist Kikasa and vocalist Sakito. It's not the first time they’ve worked together though, as both of them used to be in Dué le quartz.

After Dué le quartz’s break-up, Sakito completely disappeared from the spotlight, while Kikasa joined Shelly Trip Realize. He quit this band in April 2004, shortly before creating [FIGURE:]. Apart from Shelly Trip Realize, Kikasa also participated in a minor side-project called Unzu with Yuki Sakurai (Rice).

It’s worth mentioning that their support drummer was another ex-DlQ member; Kazuki (also ex-Babylon).

Their first release was their maxi-single “Kashikoi dorei no orokana sentaku”, on March 26th, 2005. However, the two songs on this single don't sound much different from the songs they created in Dué le quartz.

Exactly one month later they released their second maxi, “Made in Kanojo”.
"http://www.deaikei.com" was released on the 3rd of March, but this single was only for sale at their concert at the Shibuya O-west.
This song was also released on the compilation album Cannonball Vol. 2, together with another brand-new song.

In July they released a second press of “Kashikoi dorei no orokana sentaku”, which also included a DVD which contained a PV and offshoot material.

Sadly, in August due to Sakito's personal problems [FIGURE:] performed without him, with Kikasa on vocals. Even though this situtation was claimed to be only temporary, Sakito eventually left the band and in the beginning of September the group officially disbanded.
